  • Kosmo was purchased in 2004 from Muirhead Cattle Co. with Swan Hills Ranch for $8,100
  • the four brothers in that sale averaged over $5,000
  • 1/4 Fleckvieh as he traces back to Flynn Simmentals' Konze cow
  • selected as a "Peoples Choice" finalist at 2004 Canadian Western Agibition
  • Kosmo covers a lot of ground easily as he bred more than 30 heifers and cows at Drifting M Ranch and then went on to breed at Swan Hills Ranch for their summer and fall programs
  • very dense muscled, deep ribbed, and extra large scrotal
  • his first calves to hit the ground averaged 78 lbs. on 16 sons, and 79 lbs on 12 daughters with extreme vigor
  • they didn't stop there! Actual weaning weights averaged 810 lbs and yearling weights averaged 1260 lbs. (note: many of these calves were out of heifers, so their adjusted weights should be higher yet!)
